Volunteers Needed!
Help us improve early diagnosis of bowel cancer in West Cornwall
Bowel cancer is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early.
Working with partners across West Cornwall, we are delivering a project to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer and encourage people to speak to their community pharmacist if they notice any changes. To support this work, we are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable volunteers from Redruth, Camborne, Hayle and Penzance.
There are currently two volunteer roles available:
Early Diagnosis Volunteer
• Help us raise awareness of bowel cancer in your local community by delivering talks or supporting information stands. Full training and reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses will be provided. You can choose to support information stands, deliver talks, or both.

Bowel Awareness Champion
• Help raise awareness by displaying posters and leaflets in your local area or sharing key messages on social media. No long-term commitment is required – just a little of your time and your local knowledge.
